Question 3:
What is the range of GGEs within Gippsland?
Answer:
Known Habitat
The only place GGE are found in the world is approximately
40,000 ha of South and West Gippsland, Victoria.
This area lies roughly between Buln Buln to the north,
Jumbunna to the south, Almurta to the west, and
Mt Eccles to the east (click here for map).
Within this range, worms are usually limited to small,
widely dispersed pockets of suitable habitat along
creek banks or south facing slopes.
